2006 Season In Review...

A fast start for the Mariners as they won the first 4
games before losing 3 to Jackson, Brick Memorial &
Middletown South. The Mariners had a potent offense
and tuff defense that gelled as the season progressed.
They  won 2 out of there last 3 to go 6-4 for the first year

2006 Mariner Offense...      
 
The offense scored 243 points
in 2006 which was 2nd in the Shore American. The offense
was highlighted by a 67 point explosion against Marlboro
and by putting up 20 points against a tuff Middletown South
team that only allowed an average of 6 points per game for
the season.

2006 Mariner Defense...  

The Mariner defense was highlighted in 2006 by
 posting 2 shutouts against Marlboro and Brick Township
 and by shutting down cross town rival Toms River South
 in a 27 - 7 victory and keeping an explosive Mainland team
 to 7 points in the NJSIAA consolation game victory 31-7.
